How to Enter a Race

Before you can enter a race you need two things:

1. A racing licence; either a full license or a 3-ride license.
2. Cycling club membership (arranged as part of number 1)

Once you have your licence (the email from Cycling Australia can be used as confirmation until your card arrives in the mail) you can nominate for a race.

It’s a good idea to have a chat with the club handicapper (mobile number in “Contact Us” section) to identify which grade you should start in.

Some races have a “sign-on and pay-on-the-day” policy, others have online nomination (a link will be provided in the event flyer or via social media).

Once you’ve signed on you collect your numbers and helmet cover (colour coded to identify which grade you’re in), then go and warm up …
